Step 1: Sear the Steak
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season steak with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Rice
In the same skillet, melt butter.
Add onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Stir in rice to coat with butter and aromatics.
Pour in broth, soy sauce, and honey.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
Step 4: Combine and Serve
Add seared steak back to the skillet with rice.
Pour in the honey garlic butter sauce and stir gently to coat.
Garnish with chopped parsley or sliced green onions.
Serve hot and enjoy!
