Ingredients
  

  • For the Steak:
  • 1 lb sirloin steak or ribeye cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ÂĽ tsp black pepper
  • For the Rice:
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups beef broth or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • For the Honey Garlic Butter Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • Optional Garnishes:
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Green onions sliced

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Sear the Steak
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season steak with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Step 2: Cook the Rice
  • In the same skillet, melt butter.
  • Add onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.
  • Add garlic and sautĂ© for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in rice to coat with butter and aromatics.
  • Pour in broth, soy sauce, and honey.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  • Step 3: Make the Sauce
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
  • Step 4: Combine and Serve
  • Add seared steak back to the skillet with rice.
  • Pour in the honey garlic butter sauce and stir gently to coat.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley or sliced green onions.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
