  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Dough
  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  • Add sugar, honey, melted butter, egg, and salt. Stir to combine.
  • Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Step 2: Shape and Bake
  • Punch down dough and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Cut into 2-inch squares and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Cover loosely and let rise another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake rolls 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Step 3: Make the Honey Cinnamon Butter
  • Beat softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon until smooth and fluffy.
  • Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
  • Brush warm rolls with melted butter. Serve with a generous scoop of honey cinnamon butter.
