Ingredients
  

  • For the Brownies:
  • ▢1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ▢1½ cups granulated sugar
  • ▢½ teaspoon salt
  • ▢1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ▢4 large eggs room temperature
  • ▢2 tablespoons lemon zest 2-3 lemons
  • ▢⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Lemon Glaze:
  • ▢1 cup powdered sugar
  • ▢2-3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ▢1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Line 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper
  • Grease parchment paper lightly
  • Make Batter:
  • Whisk flour and salt
  • Cream butter and sugar (3-4 minutes)
  • Add eggs one at a time
  • Mix in lemon zest, juice, and vanilla
  • Fold in flour mixture
  • Bake:
  • Pour batter into pan
  • Bake 25-30 minutes
  • Cool completely
  • Glaze:
  • Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice
  • Add zest
  • Pour over cooled brownies
  • Let set 30 minutes
