Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat & Prep
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease or line a 12-cup muffin tin.
  • Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients
  • In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, and egg.
  • Add buttermilk and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  • Step 4: Combine & Bake
  • Gently mix dry ingredients into wet just until combined—do not overmix.
  • Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly.
  • Step 5: Add the Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Dip warm muffins in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar until coated.
  • Step 6: Serve & Enjoy
