Ingredients
  

  • Base Ingredients:
  • 1 package 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 1 lb ground beef turkey, or sausage
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese blend
  • ½ cup cooked bacon bits optional
  • ½ cup diced vegetables bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or sauce ranch, BBQ, or marinara – optional
  • 1 large egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat and Cook the Filling
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground meat and diced onion over medium heat until browned.
  • Drain grease. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and sauté optional veggies until tender.
  • Step 2: Roll and Fill
  • Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  • Spread mayo or sauce over dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Evenly layer with the cooked meat mixture, shredded cheese, bacon bits, and any extra fillings.
  • Step 3: Roll and Seal
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from the long edge.
  • Pinch the edges to seal and place seam-side down on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Step 4: Bake and Slice
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm!
