- 1 package 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
- 1 lb ground beef turkey, or sausage
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese blend
- ½ cup cooked bacon bits optional
- ½ cup diced vegetables bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.
- ¼ cup mayonnaise or sauce ranch, BBQ, or marinara – optional
- 1 large egg beaten (for egg wash)
Step 1: Preheat and Cook the Filling
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground meat and diced onion over medium heat until browned.
Drain grease. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and sauté optional veggies until tender.
Step 2: Roll and Fill
Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
