Step 1: Make the Potato Mixture
In a large bowl, mash thawed tater tots until smooth.
Add flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, pepper, salt, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
Step 2: Stuff and Shape
Take about 1 tbsp of the mixture and flatten it in your palm.
Place a small pinch of cheddar and crumbled bacon in the center.
Wrap the mixture around the filling and shape into a tot.
Repeat until all the mixture is used.
Step 3: Cook Your Tots
🔸 Frying Method:
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry tots in small batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels.
🔸 Baking Method:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place tots on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
🔸 Air Fryer Method:
Preheat to 375°F. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crisp.
