Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups frozen tater tots thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ÂĽ tsp black pepper
  • ÂĽ tsp salt
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • Vegetable oil for frying or cooking spray for baking

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Make the Potato Mixture
  • In a large bowl, mash thawed tater tots until smooth.
  • Add flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, pepper, salt, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
  • Step 2: Stuff and Shape
  • Take about 1 tbsp of the mixture and flatten it in your palm.
  • Place a small pinch of cheddar and crumbled bacon in the center.
  • Wrap the mixture around the filling and shape into a tot.
  • Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  • Step 3: Cook Your Tots

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry tots in small batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • 🔸 Baking Method:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place tots on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • 🔸 Air Fryer Method:
  • Preheat to 375°F. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crisp.
